Mike Sullivan

President

Mike, Founder and President of SensIR, is an optical designer with over 35 year experience in leading remote sensing, spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging companies.

He founded the Wasatch Photonics Systems Division in Durham in 2010, and served as its General Manager from 2010 to 2016. Mike served as President and Founder of Kiara Biosystems (which became Wasatch Photonics Systems Division) and Co-Founder and CEO of Centice Corporation. He has also played principal roles in product strategy and development for early stage companies such as OptXCon, Retinapharma Technologies, Animas Corporation, Cytometrics and Karl Storz Imaging. During his tenure as a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Duke University, he also served as Manager of the Fitzpatrick Institute for Photonics. Mike has received numerous industry and academic awards, including the Hughes Fellowship, R&D 100, and Photonics Circle of Excellence Awards. He holds a BS in Physics from UCLA and an MS in Acoustics from Pennsylvania State University.

 

Neil Goodey

Director

Neil has over 20 years management and corporate experience in running mining services, geoscience and technology based companies. Neil was a co-founder of Corescan, a global mining services company using advanced hyperspectral imaging technology, co-founder of UTS Geophysics, a global provider of airborne geophysical surveys, serving as Managing Director from 1991 through 2001, Executive Chairman from 2001 to 2007, and as COO and director of Toronto listed Aeroquest International from 2007 to 2009. Neil was co-founder of DTI Group Ltd, a public transit technology provider, serving as CEO from 2001 through 2007, and continuing as executive director from 2007. Neil is a recipient of the Graham Sands Award for his work in the geosciences industry.

 

Nino Tufilli

Director

Nino is a co-founder of Corescan, a global mining services company using advanced hyperspectral imaging technology, co-founder of UTS Geophysics, a global provider of airborne geophysical surveys, serving as Technical Director from 1991 through 2001, and Managing Director from 2001 through 2007. He served as director of Toronto listed Aeroquest International from 2007 to 2009 and Operations Director of UTS Geophysics over the same period. Nino co-founded UTS Navigation Systems, which now trades as DTI Group, a provider of integrated digital video surveillance and vehicle tracking technology to the public transport market. Nino has over 20 years experience in the computer science, geophysical and electronics industries and in 2000 was joint recipient of the Graham Sands Award for his work in the geophysical industry.

 

Peter Overand

CFO

Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the accounting field across a number of industries. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the Australian division of publically listed Aeroquest International Limited. Peter was awarded Fellowship status with CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Massey University in New Zealand.
